Aura Health seeks a versatile physician to provide comprehensive surgical coverage at a Level I trauma center in New Orleans. This role involves multi-specialty surgery across general, neuro, orthopedics, ENT, and urology with a mix of adult and pediatric patients.

You will participate in an in-house call rotation from 7 pm to 7 am and collaborate with 24/7 in-house CRNAs within a supportive academic-affiliated setting that offers professional development opportunities.

Competenze

• Experience in a Level I trauma center is required.
• Strong surgical skills across multiple specialties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Mansioni

• Perform full-scope general surgery, neuro, orthopedics, ENT, and urology procedures.
• Manage a patient caseload with predominantly adult patients (90%) and some pediatrics (10%).
• Handle a mix of general (70%) and trauma (30%) cases.
• Participate in an in-house call rotation from 7 pm to 7 am.
• Work in an environment with 24/7 in-house CRNAs.
• Engage in an academic affiliation with opportunities for professional development.
