Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a board-certified Anesthesiologist for a locum-tenens assignment in Belfast, ME. Coverage ASAP – ongoing, 7a-3:30p with Mon-Fri schedule; night call every 3rd night and 24‑hour call; one weekend per month.

Case mix includes general surgery, obstetrics, regional anesthesia, and minor nerve blocks. Procedures: epidural, spinal, plexus blocks; arterial line; acute pain management.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Anesthesiology required.
• Active ME license or IMLC eligible.
• Locum experience preferred and must complete agency questionnaire.
• COVID and flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for general, obstetrical, and regional cases.
• Perform minor nerve blocks, epidural, spinal, and regional anesthesia.
• Manage acute pain and evaluate volume/BP issues.
• Work independently without CRNA supervision.
• Participate in call schedule: weeknights every 3rd night and monthly weekend 24-hour call.
