Job summary

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible general anesthesiologist for a hospital-employed, full-time position. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with a mix of 12-hour overnight calls and day off after call, within an Anesthesia Care Team model led by CRNAs, and a broad case mix including pediatrics and complex procedures.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible general anesthesiologist
• Experience working in a collaborative anesthesia team

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services on a Monday–Friday schedule with 12-hour overnight calls.
• Participate in Anesthesia Care Team model with CRNA medical direction.
• Manage a diverse case mix including general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, vascular, pediatrics, ENT, urology, GYN, neurosurgery and electrophysiology.
