Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Anesthesiologist in Kansas City, MO. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a start date of 10-26-26 and a pay range of $400–$415 per hour. Coverage includes standard 5, 10-Hour shifts and on-call responsibilities.

The facility is an Acute Care Hospital, and the role requires MD/DO with board certification in anesthesiology and an active Missouri license; locum experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in anesthesiology (ACGME or AOA).
• Board-certified in anesthesiology (ABA or AOA).
• Active Missouri medical license.
• At least 1 year of locum experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe anesthesia care pre/intra/postoperative.
• Collaborate with surgeons and teams to plan care.
• Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as needed.
• Monitor vitals and adjust anesthesia to maintain safety.
• Respond to emergencies during surgery.
• Document care in the medical record.
• Pursue continuing education to stay current.
