Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Anesthesiologist in Overland Park, KS. This 13-week assignment offers a pay rate of $150–$160 per hour and starts on 10-26-26 at a surgical center.

As a physician in anesthesia you will provide preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care, administer general, regional or local anesthesia, monitor patients, respond to emergencies, and document care. Board certified with KS license preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ACGME/ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Active, unrestricted Kansas medical license.
• Board certification in anesthesiology (ABA or AOA).
• At least 1 year of clinical anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative anesthesia care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and teams to plan patient care.
• Administer general, regional or local anesthesia as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia to maintain stability.
• Respond to intraoperative emergencies promptly.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Pursue continuing education to stay current in anesthesiology.
