Job summary

Confidential in Munster, Indiana is seeking a locum anesthesia physician to provide day-shift services in a Level III Trauma Center. You will work in a 1:6 supervision model alongside CRNAs and MDs, with a mix of general, cardiac, pulmonary, and vascular cases. Epic EMR is used and call is negotiable.

Credentialing takes about 90 days; temporary privileges are not available. Location offers on-site duties with diverse case exposure for the MD on assignment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist required for locum Tenens coverage.
• Ability to work under supervision model 1:6.
• Collaborative practice with CRNAs and MDs in a trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services under medical supervision (1:6) during day shifts.
• Handle cases including general, cardiac, lungs, vascular, and limited neuro with supervision.
• Work in a Level III Trauma Center with Epic EMR and after-hours call as negotiated.
