Qualifications
- Completion of ALOA Locksmith courses or equivalent is required.
- Up to one year of basic technical training.
- Three years of facilities experience preferred.

Position Summary:Under general supervisions and in accordance with established methods, standards and procedures, installs, repairs and maintains lock and key systems throughout the hospital.Key Responsibilities:- Responding to routine and emergency service requests via online work order, radio dispatch or as assigned by Group Leader/Supervisor.
- Planning assigned work by examining work site, detailed prints/drawings and project specifications, selecting and obtaining needed equipment and materials and determining appropriate sequence of tasks.
- Making and duplicating keys for hospital departments and contract security personnel according to hospital policies and procedures.
- Setting up and maintaining master key systems and maintains key sets for security personnel as requested. Codes and records key location and distribution data on departmental key control system.
- Installing, repairing and maintaining manual and electronic locks and locking devices throughout the hospital. Installing computerized access devices in high security areas, inputs and maintains computer data base of entry authorization controls and generates and issues access chips.
Minimum Qualification:- A high school/GED level of educational development and up to one year of basic technical training.
Experience:- 3 years of facilities experience preferred.
- 1 year experience required
Certification/Registration required:- Completion of ALOA Locksmith courses or equivalent is required

- Tuesday – Saturday (7:00am - 3:30pm)
