The Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA), owner and operator of BWI Thurgood Marshall and Martin State Airports, is seeking applications for the position of Locksmith within the Office of Facilities Maintenance at BWI Marshall Airport.
This is a journey level position in the Locksmith trade. Responsibilities include maintaining, installing, and repairing various locking systems, door closures, and devices. The role requires the use of tools such as key cutting equipment, hand tools, and other state-owned machinery. Additional duties include operating motorized equipment, moving objects, and maintaining records.
Employees are considered essential and may be required to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Emergency call-back procedures may apply to ensure continuous facility operations. The position is located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD.
