Job summary

LockNet is seeking a skilled Door & Hardware Technician in Houston to deliver hands-on locksmith and access control solutions for commercial clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of locksmithing and/or access control experience.
• Proficient with computers and mobile devices for data entry.
• Clean driving record without restrictions.
• Familiar with life safety, fire codes, and ADA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Repair/replace lever sets, panic bars, closers, and basic lock work.
• Re-key cylinders/cores and cut keys based on code.
• Install and repair access control hardware including electric strikes, automatic operators, electrified locks, and magnetic locks.
• Respond to emergency work orders, including occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls.
• Read and comprehend instructions, floor plans, diagrams, and schematics.
• Fulfill customer-specific requirements such as IVR procedures, capturing pictures, and managing check-in/check-out.
• Diagnose field issues and communicate necessary product replacements or repairs.
