Job summary

Coulson Aviation in Thermal, CA is seeking a Lockheed C130 Hercules A&P Mechanic to service our global fleet. Join a mission-driven team maintaining military-grade aircraft used in wildfire suppression and rapid-response operations.

You’ll perform field maintenance, daily checks, manage parts and spares, and coordinate travel with dispatched aircraft. Strong preference for C130 experience and an A&P license, with travel internationally on predetermined schedules.

Qualifications

• AME or A&P license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to obtain CDL Class A license (pick up and trailer)
• Experience with similar aircraft type
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel internationally on predetermined schedules
• Preference will be given to candidates with a C130 maintenance background

Responsibilities

• Travel with aircraft when dispatched (by ground or air)
• Perform field maintenance and daily checks of the aircraft
• Manage and maintain spares, inventory, and ordering for parts trailer as required
• Operate truck and trailer when aircraft is repositioned
• Grow with us in on-the-job and external training programs
• Uphold a safe working culture
