Job summary

JobTailor in Orlando, FL is seeking a results-oriented Mechanical Engineer to lead and execute design projects for locker products. You will design mechanical systems, produce CAD models, and collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to meet performance, safety and cost targets.

You will document technical specifications, generate BOMs, and support pre-sales with solution engineering, CAD drawings, and prototype testing. Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering specifically for lockers.
• 3+ years with Autodesk Inventor product design and Vault for CAD data.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical subject matter expertise, solution engineering and hands-on design work.
• Support sales teams during the entire sales process for lockers and equipment management.
• Create drawings, renderings, and concepts for pre-sales activities.
• Deliver engineering designs to meet customer specs and product requirements.
• Document client meetings and interactions in the CRM system.
• Test and document RFID tagging solutions on customer assets, including on-site visits.
