Job summary

The Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter, FL is seeking a Men’s Locker Room Attendant to provide first-class service to members and guests. You will attend to the locker room area, maintain cleanliness, and ensure an inviting atmosphere with exemplary service.

Responsibilities include greeting members, assisting with golfing or dining arrivals, responding to food & beverage requests, and maintaining locker room facilities.

• Report issues to the Manager on Duty immediately.
• Assist members with dropping off or picking up items.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager on Duty.

Position Status: Full Time / Part Time - Year Round / Seasonal

FLSA Status: Non Exempt Hourly Position

JOB SUMMARY:

To provide first class service to our members and guests in a courteous and efficient manner. Attending to the Locker Room area to maintain a superior level of cleanliness, organization to create a welcoming environment with exemplary service.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Graduate or Equivalent

PRIMARY DUTIES:

1. Greet Members and Guests politely and courteously; attending to their requests/needs with the utmost care and concern.
2. Assist members as they prepare to or return from golfing or dining.
3. Respond to requests for food & beverage service.
4. Attend to the lending library, card games and other entertainment for members and guests.
5. Maintaining the cleanliness and orderly appearance of the entire locker room area.
6. General Maintenance of the Lockers, restrooms and shower areas.
7. Assist in the off season with light maintenance around the club as needed.
8. Convey any issues or concerns to the Manager on Duty immediately.
9. Assist members picking up or dropping off various items.
10. All other tasks as assigned by your Supervisor or the Manager on Duty.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. floor to waist and overhead without assistance and able to assist other team members in lifting items >50 lbs.
2. Able to stand, walk and work long hours between rest periods. Run for short bursts, navigate stairs and move quickly as required.
3. Able to reach, bend, climb, grasp, kneel, push, pull, and twist as needed.
4. Must speak, read and write English in a clear and concise manner.

Compensation:

$15.00 per hour plus cash tips
