Responsibilities

• Operate electrically and/or hydraulically controlled lock gates and related equipment.
• Perform tasks using hand and power tools per instructions.
• Conduct operational checks to prevent unsafe equipment failures.
• Serve as lead or team member on a two-person crew for lockage tasks.
• Carry out seasonal groundskeeping, snow removal, and ice clearing as needed.
• Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties in control houses and facilities.
