Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, repair, etc.
• Experience operating specialized machinery and related controls.
• Familiarity with technical practices requiring precision.
• Ability to use measuring instruments accurately.
• Physical effort: frequent standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing.
• Working conditions: outdoors/indoors, varying weather, noise, and hazards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lock and dam operations and maintenance, assigning tasks to a diverse crew working rotating shifts.
• Plan and adjust work schedules and resources to meet operational priorities and resolve issues.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and inspect work quality to ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage employee performance, training, leave, and disciplinary actions.
• Serve as acting site supervisor and manage credit card purchases in absence of Lockmaster.
