$20.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Position Details

• Status: Full Time, Employee
• Location: New Richmond, WI & surrounding areas
• Start Date: February 24, 2025
• Experience: 2 years locator experience required

Responsibilities

1. Locate underground utilities based on 811 tickets according to dig laws.
2. Use utility maps, civil drawings, GIS data, and electronic locating equipment.
3. Mark utility locations with flags or paint.
4. Document work through reports, forms, and photos.
5. Investigate and document utility damages.
6. Record locating data using a mobile app.
7. Participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

1. Knowledge of locate practices, procedures, and 811 law.
2. Ability to read utility maps and civil drawings.
3. Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness.
4. Ability to work in all weather conditions and travel as needed.
5. Strong troubleshooting skills and valid driver’s license.
6. Ability to pass drug screening and obtain DOT certification.
7. Flexible schedule and punctuality.
