Position Details

• Full-Time Employee based in Auburn, IN (and surrounding areas)
• Start Date: May 12, 2025
• Relevant Experience: 2 years locator experience required

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities per 811 laws using maps, drawings, and electronic equipment
• Mark utility locations with flags or paint
• Document work with reports, photos, and detailed records
• Use mobile apps to record and document locates
• Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

• Knowledge of locate practices, procedures, and 811 law
• Ability to interpret utility maps and drawings
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness
• Work in all weather conditions and travel as needed
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT certification
• Pass a drug screen and background checks
