Job summary

Newcomer Funeral Service Group seeks an experienced funeral director and embalmer to manage our North Dayton Chapel. This busy location requires a confident, hands-on leader who can prioritize, coordinate daily operations, and ensure compassionate service to every family.

You will lead staff development, oversee financial performance, and maintain quality, compliant operations while representing Newcomer professionally in the local community.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of similar or related experience.
• Ohio licensure with mortuaryScience program and NBEX requirements.

As one of our higher-volume locations, North Dayton requires a confident, hands-on leader who can manage multiple priorities, keep daily operations moving smoothly, and ensure that every family receives attentive, compassionate service.In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the chapel, develop and support your team, and remain actively involved in serving families.
