Job summary

First Student is hiring a Transportation Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and manage financial performance with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role offers an annual salary of $93,150–$96,000 plus bonus, full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)), and opportunities for advancement across North America. A 4-year degree and at least 3 years of management experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Minimizes route drive times and mileage while adhering to contractual and regulatory mandates
• Provides accurate and timely operational and financial reporting as requested
• Ensures purchases follow company processes and policies

Transportation Manager Responsibilities

• Manages operational expenses and explains budget variances
