Job summary

A utility locating company is seeking entry level Locate Technicians to identify underground utilities and promote damage prevention. Successful candidates will receive 100% paid training, learn to use locate technology, and will work outdoors. Key responsibilities include using a laptop for documentation, communicating effectively, and interpreting blueprints. The position offers a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, flexible scheduling, and benefits including a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.
• Ability to carry up to 5 lbs of equipment and lift objects up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities using provided equipment and technology.
• Read maps and interpret blueprints for accurate locating.
• Effectively communicate with peers and homeowners.
