Job summary

A utility locating company in California is seeking entry-level Locate Technicians to support underground utility location and damage prevention. Qualifications

• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Use a laptop computer to receive, document, and process tickets.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine locating methods.
• Use provided equipment to accurately locate underground utilities.

Skills

Ability to problem solve with speed and accuracy

Effective communication

Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day
