Qualifications

The Locate Technician will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground utilities and infrastructure to ensure safe excavation and construction activities. Key Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground utilities such as gas, water, electric, and telecommunications lines using specialized equipment.
• Interpret maps, blueprints, and technical drawings to identify utility locations.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders to coordinate locating activities.
• Maintain accurate records of located utilities and provide detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all locating activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of locating equipment.
• Respond promptly to locate requests and complete assignments within designated timeframes.
