Job summary

LineQuest LLC is seeking a Locator to identify and mark underground utilities to support safe excavation and construction projects. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, clear communication with contractors, and the ability to work independently on outdoor sites across our assigned area.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience in utility locating or related fields, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Previous experience in utility locating, construction, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with underground utility systems and locating equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

This position involves working outdoors on construction sites and other locations throughout their assigned area. The role does require walking, standing, and lifting of equipment.
