Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an analytical professional to analyze Localized Assortment Applications and make recommendations to improve store inventories. You will support Returns, New Store Inventories, Project Coordination and Existing Store Inventories while building expertise across areas within the department.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop mastery of the Localized Assortment suite and provide support and training for other users in ESA, NSA and Analyst Exceptions.
• Assist Projects team with follow-up store compliance, drafting Team Weekly and Managers Assignments for Project Coordinators, attend planning meetings and general research on specific lines or products (product alerts).
• Research and perform analysis related to special store inventory requests including renovation/relocation projects and provide recommendations.
• Prepare and adjust special store inventory requests using ESA and schedule with field team to complete projects.
• Assist in identifying critical areas needing to be addressed to enhance inventories through advanced reporting.
• Assist Analyst team in overflow workload: backroom and OFM projects, special requests, max/min, reviewing exceptions; provide guidance on ESA/Analyst Exceptions best practices.
• Assist New Store team with overflow workload: new store orders, renovation/relocation orders, store type review and gates hydraulic additions.
• Assist Returns team with overflow workload: prepare factory stock adjustments, lifts back to vendor, disposition of store buyout merchandise, create reports.
• Gain understanding of SQL statements and macros used to create new reports as needed.
