We are on a mission to make videos watchable in any language, and we are expanding our language coverage. We are looking for someone with a background in audiovisual translation in the English to Italian pair.

Responsibilities

• Optimizing translations and adapting for dubbing and localization from the English source video
• Selecting and refining voice casts to ensure they match the English source video
• Utilizing new technologies to enhance dubbed content
• Managing first-hand the production and quality control of dubbed content
• Preliminary post-editing of clips to improve synchronization and combining inputs (in collaboration with editing team)

Requirements

• 1-3 years translation and/or adaptation for dubbing
• A scrappy self-starter with an owner-mindset and a keen interest in leveraging emerging technologies
• Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Advantages & nice to have

• Experience working in localization, production and/or post production
• Experience with video-editing and audio-editing tools, preferably in dubbing or voice-over production

Location: Remote – Italy preferred
