Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Warehouse Driver at our Chesapeake, VA branch. The role operates a company vehicle for local pickups and deliveries and provides warehouse support as needed.

You will follow efficient routing, handle inventory at the customer site, and ensure accurate loading, unloading, and documentation of deliveries. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read packing slips, basic math and computer skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions.
• Ability to document information obtained from customer during delivery.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment.
• Sort assignments and plan the most efficient route.
• Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.
• Organize products in reverse delivery order and load in delivery vehicle.
• Unload products at customer locations and obtain customer signature on packing slip.
• Determine items to be picked, checked and shipped from sales orders.
• Prepare items for delivery to customers.
• Secure packages to prevent damage in shipping to customers.
• May assist with restocking of products on shelves.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
