Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Warehouse Driver to operate a company vehicle for local pickups and deliveries, with responsibility to plan efficient routes and provide warehouse support at the branch as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read packing slips and delivery instructions, basic math and computer skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. DOT certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions.
• Document information obtained from customers during delivery.
• Apply basic math and reading comprehension to delivery tasks.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills for logs and records.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment.
• Sort assignments and plan the most efficient route.
• Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.
• Organize products and load delivery vehicles and secure them for transit.
• Unload at customer locations and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
• Determine items to pick, check, and ship from sales orders.
• Prepare items for delivery and restock shelves as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
