Performance Food Group in Manassas, VA is seeking a delivery driver to operate straight trucks or vans on local routes, delivering and unloading food products to customers. You will ensure safety checks, proper loading, and accurate paperwork while maintaining professional interactions with customers and vendors.

The role emphasizes timely, safe deliveries on intra- and interstate routes with compliance to DOT regulations; requires lifting up to 90 pounds and valid license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect truck/van and verify loaded freight; complete paperwork accurately.
• Drive to deliver customer orders according to schedule.
• Unload products, obtain customer signatures, and process returns as needed.
• Secure vehicle and freight; complete daily hours-of-service logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor, loading dock, and trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
