Job summary

Overhaul Carriers seeks a Class A local driver in California for consistent miles and steady career growth. The role requires a minimum of 3 months OTR or Regional experience and features a 6-day work week with morning and evening shifts.

Drivers haul no-touch freight, average 1700 miles weekly, and complete pre/post-trip inspections with timely deliveries. A holiday start bonus of $1,000 is included.

Experience

Compensation

$1650 to $2200 per week., Holiday Start Bonus of $1,000.

Local Position

6 day work week schedule., morning and evening shift available.

Delivery Locations

• Los Angeles Basin
• Inland Empire
• Orange County
• San Diego County

Load

Drivers will haul no touch freight and typically make 1 to 2 stops per day, totaling 1700 miles per week.

Duties

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen., Urine and Hair Follicle Test.

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Rollover.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving position, Class A or B will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
