Local Truck Driver CDL A Yard Jockey Spotter

Join us as a Local Truck Driver CDL A Yard Jockey Spotter at Class A Drivers.

Location: Bartlett, IL

Company Overview: Established in 1982, providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and end users. Growing and expanding, we are hiring for this role in our Bartlett warehouse.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage: $26.75
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Work week: 45-50 hours
• Weekly paychecks
• Safety shoes provided ($250 vouchers/year)

Benefits start first of the month after 60 days: Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life, PTO, Paid Holidays, Career growth.

Work Schedule

• Sunday-Friday, off Saturday and one other day
• Start between 5:00pm-7:00pm, work until done
• Home daily, no layovers
• Make 25-35 moves/day with spotter trucks and day cabs
• Walking involved, outdoor elements
• Flexible schedule based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Report mechanical issues, fuel, check reefers
• Back tractor/trailers into docks
• Vehicle inspections
• Report maintenance issues

Minimum Requirements

• 18+ years old
• Valid Illinois Class A CDL
• 6+ months spotting experience
• Experience with yard horse/spotter truck
• Manual transmission ability
• DOT Medical Card, pass drug/background checks
• Physical fitness for extended standing, bending, lifting (up to 65 lbs)
• Work in diverse environments
• Legal to work in US, English proficiency

Physical Abilities

Regular talking, hearing, manual dexterity, lifting up to 65 lbs.
