Company is a leading provider of roofing, siding, windows, decking, specialty lumber, waterproofing, and air barrier systems to the North American building industry. With nearly 100 years of supporting contractors through a network of trusted regional suppliers, we are currently accepting applications for a Local Truck Driver CDL A or CDL B Flatbed position in Bangor, ME.
Compensation
- Hourly pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour
- Pay rate may be negotiable based on experience
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
- Typical workweek is 45-50 hours
- $150 annual shoe allowance
- Bi-weekly paychecks

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Typically 6am/7am-4pm/5pm, work until completed
- Home daily, no overnights
- Make 3-6 stops per day within a 1-hour radius
- Flexibility required; routing may change frequently
Responsibilities
- Delivering and unloading building supplies at various sites
- Using conveyer, Moffett, boom, and/or forklift for loading/unloading
- Driving CDL trucks to transport materials
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring on-time deliveries
- Checking vehicle mechanical aspects and reporting issues
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum 1 year CDL A or CDL B experience
- Current DOT Medical Card; able to pass DOT drug screen and physical
- Experience with building supplies delivery preferred
- Flatbed and/or conveyor/boom experience a plus; training available
- Hazmat endorsement preferred; willingness to obtain upon hire
- Excellent physical condition; ability to lift 75-100 pounds
- Ability to work in diverse environments and conditions
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Proficient in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English
