Qualifications

Local Truck Driver CDL A Knuckle Boom $3,000 Sign-on Bonus

Company is a leading provider of commercial and residential roofing, siding, windows, decking, specialty lumber, waterproofing, and air barrier systems to the North American building industry. Leveraging a network of trusted regional construction suppliers, we have supported contractors who rely on us to run their businesses for nearly 100 years. Due to continued growth, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Flatbed to work in our Seattle, WA facility.

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay $39.00-$42.00/hour based on prior experience.
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
  • Typical work week is 40-45 hours per week.
  • >$3,000 sign-on bonus. 50% paid after 30 days and the remainder paid out at 60 days.
  • Bi-Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday.
  • Start times vary, typically between 5am-7am and work until 3pm/4pm, or until work is completed.
  • Home every day, no overnights.
  • Make local stops per day, typically within 100-mile radius, to commercial sites.
  • Must be flexible with work schedule. Routing can change frequently throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering and unloading building supplies to commercial job sites.
  • Drive CDL Knuckle Boom or Flatbed to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
  • Required to load and unload freight.
  • Strapping the freight.
  • Use of Boom Crane.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
  • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on trucks and/or equipment.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must hold a valid CDL A License with a minimum of 1 year of recent verifiable driving experience.
  • Building distribution experience delivering building supplies, drywall, and/or dump trucks is required.
  • ABC Boom Crane certification through NCCCO is highly preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Boom, Knuckleboom, and/or Crane experience preferred but will train the right individual.
  • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
  • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
  • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Be able to lift, push, pull 75 to 100 pounds with no assistance.
