Due to continued growth, we are accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Flatbed Driver in Wichita, KS.
Compensation
- Hourly pay $23.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Three pay increases in first year: 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.
- OT after 40 hours per week.
- Typical work week is 40-45 hours per week.
- Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Start time 7am, work until work is completed, typically 4/5pm.
- No layovers, home daily.
- Make 3-4 stops per route, within 200 mile radius.
- Must be flexible with work schedule and route assignments.
Responsibilities
- Delivering and unloading steel building supplies to steel shops/end users.
- Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on trucks and/or equipment.
- Flatbed Conestoga trailers, no tarping. Drivers are responsible for load securement.
Requirements
- Must be minimum of 21 years of age.
- Possess a Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
- Minimum of 2 years of CDL A tractor-trailer flatbed experience required.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S..
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds with no assistance.
