Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Backing tractor trailer and box trucks in and out of docks.
- Reporting mechanical issues and maintenance on vehicles.
- Performing physical tasks like lifting and moving 65 pounds.

Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Day Yard Jockey Spotter to work in our distribution warehouse in Bartlett, IL.Compensation- Hourly wage of $25.75 per hour.
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
- Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week
- Safety shoes required; $250 vouchers provided per year.
- Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule- 5 day work week - TWO schedules to choose from:
- Sunday-Friday, off Saturday and Tuesday, start time 9am, work until work is completed, typically 8-10 hours per day.
- Monday-Saturday, off Sunday and Wednesday, start time 7am, work until work is completed, typically 8-10 hours per day.
- Make 25-35 moves per day with straight-trucks and tractor-trailers using spotter trucks and day cabs.
- LOTS OF WALKING to and from overflow lots and yards in outdoor elements.
- Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs.
Responsibilities- Report mechanical issues, fueling, and checking reefer units.
- Backing tractor trailer and box trucks in and out of docks.
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.
Requirements- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License from state of Illinois.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
- Must be able to Driver a Manual Transmission. No Manual restrictions.
- Minimum 6 months of spotting experience required.
- Experience with yard horse and/or spotter truck required.
- Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
