Master's Transportation is seeking a Porter CDL Driver to manage fleet vehicles in Fontana, CA. You will move and park buses, vans, and other vehicles, and deliver them across the metropolitan area or to client locations. Emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires a valid license, CDL with passenger endorsement, and DOT certifications. Work is part-time with a minimum of three days per week and a safety-sensitive context with drug testing.
The Porter CDL driver is extremely detailed, exhibits a high sense of accountability for workload, and enjoys process improvement and management. The Porter CDL manages multiple tasks and priorities and is a self-motivated individual who can actively engage and is accountable for the safety and security of all company property under their care. In this role, you will move and park buses, vans and other vehicles on our lot, in addition to delivering them to various locations within the metropolitan area of the designated branch, or to other client or company locations, as assigned. As a porter, your duties include keeping track of parked vehicles and making sure that the parking lot is neat and presentable. To ensure success as a porter, you should exhibit safe driving skills and have experience working with fleet vehicles and internal and external customers. Ultimately, a top-notch porter is someone who can be entrusted with valuable property.
This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires employees to perform duties where impaired performance could pose a significant risk to the health and safety of themselves or others. To ensure a safe and reliable work environment, candidates must successfully complete pre-employment drug testing and may be subject to ongoing, random, or post-incident testing in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal regulations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
