Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain transportation records by retaining load-related paperwork, electronic logs (e.g., hours of service logs), and forms required by the Department of Transportation or other agencies.
2. Operate tractor/trailers safely by following all safety requirements; inspecting mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment before, during, and after trips.
3. Plan driving routes based on traffic laws and restrictions, using maps and atlases.
4. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and adhering to the Open Door Policy.
5. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritizing tasks; communicating progress; and adapting to feedback and changes.
