Qualifications

  • Class A CDL required; minimum 2 years driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily pickup and delivery routes between company locations, averaging 20-22 pickups per day.
  • Operate a straight truck and yard spotter in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation.
  • Load and unload products using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling techniques.
  • Move, position, and seal trailers while ensuring paperwork matches shipments and temperature requirements.
  • Travel to nearby facilities and delivery locations in Monroe area.
  • Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, coordinating recycling activities, and assisting with loading and unloading products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, management, and customers to meet transportation needs.

Local Truck Driver This role supports daily transportation and logistics operations by safely transporting products and materials between company facilities while helping maintain efficient warehouse operations. Qualifications

What It Takes: Previous truck driving experience is required. The ideal candidate is flexible, customer-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing schedules and priorities. In addition, we are looking for:

  • Class A CDL required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to manage changing routes, schedules, and business needs.
  • Dependability, accountability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic truck inspections and equipment checks.
