Job summary

Colony Brands, Inc. is seeking a dependable driver to support daily transportation and logistics operations across company locations in and around Monroe, Wisconsin. You will transport mail, cheese and equipment, while helping to maintain efficient warehouse operations and accurate documentation.

The role requires a Class A CDL, ability to meet DOT requirements, and strong customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment with varying daily routes and schedules, lifting up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Transport mail, cheese, mailing equipment, cardboard materials, and other products between company locations safely, accurately and on time.
• Operate a straight truck and yard spotter safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain trip documentation (mileage, load info, transfer records).
• Load and unload using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling techniques.
• Move, seal and verify trailers; ensure paperwork matches shipments and temperature requirements.
• Travel to nearby facilities in the Monroe area to deliver to storage facilities and cheese pickup locations.
• Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, coordinating recycling activities, and assisting with loading/unloading.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments, management and customers to meet transportation needs.

What You'll Do

This position is responsible for transporting mail, cheese, mailing equipment, cardboard materials, and other products between company locations while ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time. The role also supports warehouse operations, trailer movement, and inventory organization.

You’ll Also Be Responsible For

• Completing daily pickup and delivery routes between company locations, averaging 20–22 pickups per day.
• Operating a straight truck and yard spotter in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performing pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate trip documentation, including mileage, load information, and transfer records.
• Loading and unloading products using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling techniques.
• Moving, positioning, and sealing trailers while ensuring paperwork matches shipments and temperature requirements are met.
• Traveling to nearby facilities and delivery locations, including storage facilities and cheese pickup locations in and around the Monroe area.
• Supporting warehouse operations by organizing materials, coordinating recycling activities, and assisting with loading and unloading products.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with internal departments, management, and customers to ensure transportation needs are met.

QualificationsWhat It Takes

Previous truck driving experience is required. The ideal candidate is flexible, customer-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing schedules and priorities.

In Addition, We Are Looking For

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to manage changing routes, schedules, and business needs.
• Dependability, accountability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic truck inspections and equipment checks.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
