Job summary

The University of Minnesota School of Public Health is seeking a Temporary Local Community Liaison to support a telehealth medication device study in Silver Bay, MN. The role involves delivering, setting up, and training participants on the Hub device, with travel across local sites and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include participant check-ins, data collection support, and collaboration with the study team over a 6–9 month period. Some remote work and mileage reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with remote team communication.
• Basic proficiency with mobile apps and troubleshooting.
• Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• 80% In-person coordination with participants to deliver, set up, and train on the telehealth device; in-person or remote check-ins as assigned.
• 10% Ongoing communication with study team, including meetings and status updates.
• 5% Preview, pre-test, and become familiar with Hub and related technology.
• 5% Other duties as assigned, including ad hoc follow-up and backup support for team members.
