Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a safety-focused Tanker Operator with a Class A CDL to transport cement from supply terminals to our concrete plants across local and regional routes in the Dallas area. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, complete required logs, and coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery timelines.

Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, reporting defects, and delivering exceptional customer service at every site.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement useful but not required.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving Class A tanker trucks.
• Clean driving record with no serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for material transport.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tanker truck transporting cement from terminals to SRM plant locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Complete logs, delivery documentation, and DOT paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch for delivery instructions and updates.
• Ensure loading/unloading is secure with no spills or contamination.
• Follow routes, schedules, and safety procedures for material transport.
• Provide customer service at delivery sites representing SRM with professionalism.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Stay current on safety regulations and SRM policies.
