Job summary

The McPherson Companies are seeking a Fuel Delivery Agent (Local Class A CDL, Tanker) to ensure an uninterrupted supply to customers. You will load, transport, and unload diesel and gasoline, maintain DOT-compliant logs, and adhere to safety protocols to protect personnel and cargo.

With a focus on local deliveries, you will return home each night and participate in incentive programs. The position includes a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, supporting long-term career growth

Qualifications

• Class A license with Tanker and Haz Mat endorsements.
• Minimum of 3 years fuel hauling experience preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of general area in which product will be delivered.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and to understand traffic signs, to make entries on reports and records.
• Possession of a current Medical Examiner's certificate.
• Knowledge of procedures to secure cargo in or on a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to successfully complete forklift certification test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and on time to designated locations.
• Load and unload diesel fuel and gasoline following company policies and regulations.
• Maintain log books per DOT regulations.
• Engage in proper loading, unloading and flushing procedures.
• Deliver the product in a courteous, professional manner.
• Perform roadside assistance as needed and communicate with dispatchers.
