Job summary

The McPherson Companies is seeking a Fuel Delivery Agent to ensure uninterrupted product supply by safely delivering diesel and gasoline. You will coordinate with dispatch, load/unload, and drive to customer sites while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate holds a Class A license with Tanker and HazMat endorsements, has 3+ years of fuel hauling experience, is at least 21, and maintains relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Class A license with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Minimum of 3 years fuel hauling experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a current Medical Examiners certificate.
• Knowledge of procedures to secure cargo in a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to successfully complete forklift certification test.

Responsibilities

• Work with Dispatch personnel to assure uninterruptible supply for customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Load and unload diesel fuel and gasoline products in and out of truck in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated locations.
• Deliver products per warehouse instructions and delivery tickets.
• Maintain log books to comply with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate with Dispatch and Fleet Maintenance for updates and issues.
• Ensure vehicle is maintained and compliant with DOT requirements.
