Job summary

AG Globe Services is seeking an experienced Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-bed unit in Kansas City, Kansas. The local contract runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, starting ASAP.

Orientation pay is bi-weekly at 50% of the pay rate. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, DCI/BVP, and Stepdown/Acute Care experience, with required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Active DCI/BVP.
• Previous Stepdown/Acute Care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for 12-bed Stepdown Unit patients with close monitoring.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and respond to changes.
• Document care and communicate with physicians and families.
