Job summary

The position requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with active licensure and at least 1 year of pharmacy experience. Salary ranges from $130,275 to $191,209 and offers the opportunity to contribute to Walgreens' clinical and retail pharmacy

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D; active pharmacist license in the states within the district.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance.
Experience with state and federal controlled substances laws.
Specialized training or practical experience for medication and disease states (e.g., HIV, organ transplant, oncology).

Responsibilities

Manage the operation of the pharmacy department.
Improve prescription numbers, pharmacy sales, profit, and image through accurate filling and courteous service.
Report prescription errors and adhere to Quality Improvement Program.
Manage inventory and third‑party pharmacy systems to reduce payment rejections.
Coordinate daily schedule, staffing and budgeting for the department.
Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and licensure requirements.
