Job summary

UPS in Fort Worth, Texas seeks a permanent, full-time Warehouse Supervisor to oversee package center operations, ensure timely outbound shipments, and supervise supervisors, administrative staff, loaders, and sorters. The role requires strong leadership, safety governance, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The candidate must be able to lift 70 lbs, work flexible shifts (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12:30AM), and reside locally or relocate. U.S.

Responsibilities

• Ensures implementation and maintenance of a Comprehensive Health and Safety plan.
• Conducts risk management and safety compliance audits.
• Maintains employee safety training and certifications.
• Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
• Provides feedback and support.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves issues.
• Supports a collaborative work environment through communication and relationship building.
• Applies knowledge of company structure and operations to resolve problems and achieve objectives.
• Coaches and develops others using career development tools.
• Generates customized reports and interprets data from databases.
• Plans and completes work with attention to detail.
• Performs routine inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Job Description:

This position monitors daily package center operations and oversees the processing of outbound parcels at package center facilities. Candidate conducts pre-operation checks, manages sorting and loading operations, and performs post-operation functions. This position ensures outbound packages are processed, loaded, and leave the building on time. Candidate supervises part-time supervisors, administrative staff, loaders, and sorters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Management experience - Preferred
