Job summary

UPS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Massachusetts to monitor daily package center operations and oversee outbound parcel processing. You will supervise part-time supervisors, administrative staff, loaders, and sorters, ensuring packages leave on time.

The role requires coordinating safety, training, performance evaluations, and reports while maintaining strong communication across teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensures implementation and maintenance of a Comprehensive Health and Safety plan.
  • Conducts risk management and safety compliance audits.
  • Maintains employee safety training and certifications.
  • Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
  • Provides feedback and support.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues.
  • Supports a collaborative work environment through continuous communication and relationship building.
  • Applies knowledge of company structure and operations to resolve problems, make decisions and achieve business objectives.
  • Coaches and develops others using career development processes and tools.
  • Generates customized reports, accesses appropriate databases and interprets data.
  • Manages and uses details, facts and information to thoroughly and accurately plan and complete work.
  • Manages routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, supplies, and/or compliance documents to ensure safety, regulatory compliance and service life.

Job Description

This position monitors daily package center operations and oversees the processing of outbound parcels at package center facilities. This role conducts pre-operation checks, manages sorting and loading operations, and performs post-operation functions. This position ensures outbound packages are processed, loaded, and leave the building on time. This person supervises part-time supervisors, administrative staff, loaders, and sorters.

Pay Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $82.800,00/year to $119.640,00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
