Morgan Murphy Media seeks a smart, organized administrative assistant to support the Sales Department for Apple Valley News Now in the Yakima/Tri-Cities market. You will coordinate promotions across broadcast, digital and social platforms and assist Account Executives with client offers and orders.

You will collaborate with sales teams to prepare presentations, compile campaign recaps, and ensure timely delivery of media assets while maintaining spreadsheets and reports for the department.

Formación

• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Windows applications.
• Superior time and project management skills with ability to multi-task for many people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Execute promotional campaigns including contests for clients and the station.
• Facilitate inter-office communications to ensure campaigns are delivered successfully.
• Provide administrative support to SGMs, NSMs, LSMs and Account Executives with various duties.
• Create professional presentations with Account Executives.
• Produce recaps for media campaigns, air checks and video recaps.
• Maintain campaign assets, avails and digital orders in systems.

About this opportunity:

We are seeking a smart, organized and customer-focused individual who will provide general administrative assistance to the Sales Department, coordinate station sales promotions for the company’s portfolio of broadcast, digital and social media platforms and be an active participant in the sales and marketing process.

What you'll do:

• Execute promotional campaigns including contests on behalf of clients and the station
• Facilitate inter-office communications to ensure all promotions media assets and campaigns are delivered successfully for clients
• Provide general administrative assistance to General Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager, Account Executives including, client make-good offers, posts, pre-logs and other sales duties
• Partner and strategize with Account Executives to create original, unique and professional presentations
• Create compelling recaps for all media campaigns, air checks, screen shots and video recaps
• Communicate professionally with Account Executives and clients daily as a solutions provider
• Maintain Wide Orbit Media Sales inventory is up to date
• Provide back-up assistance for NSM for political file duties and executive assistance duties.
• Order entry for GSM, LSM, NSM and Account Executives for digital and traditional (Wide Orbit) orders
• Maintain various spreadsheets, calendars and reports for Sales Department
• Other duties as assigned including avails, HubSpot and submitting digital orders/creative

What you'll bring:

• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Windows applications
• Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator proficiency preferred
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Superior time and project management skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks for many people
• Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
• Maintain a positive disposition when communicating with members of all departments, customers, viewers and outside vendors
• Exceptional organizational skills and proven accuracy in work
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $19.00 - $23/hr.
