The Suddath Companies is seeking a results-driven Sales Specialist to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in assigned local markets and warehouses. You will build strong referral networks and drive revenue growth while maximizing capacity and cross-sell opportunities.
As the primary sales representative, you will engage with on-site leaders and customers, develop proposals, and maintain robust relationships to achieve profitable growth and high customer satisfaction.

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities that drive revenue growth across assigned local markets, warehouses, and site level operations. Build and maintain strong referral and customer relationships while maximizing local operational capacity, increasing account penetration, and uncovering cross sell and upsell opportunities. Serve as the primary sales representative for the local market, delivering profitable revenue growth through both self-generated business development efforts and strategic customer engagement.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred but not necessary; two to five years of direct sales experience; commercial moving industry experience is preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as forms, contracts, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Must have experience with social networking and utilizing a CRM database
