Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring a local CDL Class B route representative to sell and deliver product on an assigned route in Missouri. The role includes placing orders, merchandising displays, and ensuring products are available on store shelves for shoppers.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends, a uniform allowance, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) with company match. Opportunities for career advancement are available.

Qualifications

• DSD, grocery, retail sales, delivery, or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment.
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sell and deliver product to grocery stores on assigned route.
• Place orders and promote new products to gain display space.
• Merchandise and rotate product on shelves.
• Unload products and collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology and sales software daily.
• Build in-store relationships in a fast-paced environment and ensure DOT compliance.
