Job summary

Iron Mountain Incorporated is seeking a Local Route Driver to join our Operations team. You will operate company vehicles safely, manage local route logistics, and deliver excellent customer service as the face of Iron Mountain on the road.

The role requires at least 2 years in route transportation, ability to drive a box truck, and compliance with safety and DOT requirements. Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of preferred experience in route transportation or a similar field.
• Operate Commercial Box Truck / Mobile Shred Unit / Tipper.
• Make an average of 15+ stops daily.
• Flexibility to work extra hours as needed to complete daily routes.
• Use wireless scanning technology and prepare paperwork.
• Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical.
• Safe lifting up to 70 pounds and moving heavy bins.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record, age 21+.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles safely to perform scheduled pickups and deliveries, following DOT and security standards.
• Manage end-to-end route logistics, including loading, transport, and unloading of materials, and prepare required paperwork.
• Collaborate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and provide strong customer service on the road.
