K&M Tire is seeking a Route Truck Driver to provide dependable, friendly service while delivering tires on a defined route. You will perform daily pre-route inspections using the ELog system and ensure safe, on-time deliveries with proper COD handling and signatures.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company policies, with opportunities for within-company advancement and promotions based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license issued by state and a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn tire knowledge and exercise brand and size accuracy.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Ability to communicate and express ideas effectively.
• Possess a friendly, helpful, positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and handling complaints professionally.
• Utilize ELog Pre-trip interface to conduct daily pre-route vehicle inspections.
• Transport and deliver items to customers on assigned route in a safe, timely manner.
• Responsible for unloading truck efficiently, accurately and in organized manner.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor on any issues or concerns.
• Responsible for making sure all loads are secure and locked until reaching destination.
• Responsible for obeying all traffic laws and company policies.
• Responsible for using Signature Capture phone to verify COD payments and obtain delivery signatures.
• Maintain complete ELog compliance daily.
• Adhere to assigned route travel path to satisfy customer needs and efficiency.
• Work safely and professionally, keep truck interior clean.
• Support management decisions and company goals.
• Assist with warehouse duties if needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
